Structure & Timing Guidelines
New Digital SAT Suite of Assessments
On the new digital adaptive versions of the SAT/PSAT suite of assessments, all 3 tests (PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, SAT) have the exact same number of questions and time allowed per section. The only difference between the tests is the level of difficulty and score ranges, which have not changed from the previous version of the assessments.

ACT Assessment Structure & Timing Guidelines
Horizon Assessments for the ACT are 175 minutes, contain 215 items, and provide an overall composite score range of 1-36.
PreACT 9 & PreACT 10 Assessment Structure & Timing Guidelines
Horizon Assessments for the PreACT are 130 minutes, contain 136 items, and provide an overall composite score range of 1-35.
